Apartment Klara is located on a street dating back to the 13th century. In the middle ages it was called the Nun Street (Ulica mnisok). The upper end of the street led up the hill to what were then the city walls. Today it heads towards the Kapucinska and Staromestka streets. The he street is dominant dominated by the convent of Sv Klara (Church and Monastery of the Poor Clares). Although the interior (which now houses the University library) is off limits to tourists, you can still admire the beautiful gothic spire, complete with gargoyles. Located inside of Bratislava’s pedestrian zone, this newly renovated apartment offers the comfort of a modern interior and high-tech amenities combined with the elegance of a period building. Conveniently, there is a restaurant & cocktail bar on the ground floor. This large one bedroom apartment (70 m2 or 753 ft2) contains a fully fitted open space kitchen with adjoining living room, a bedroom and a bathroom with shower and a toilet. The bedroom contains double bed, spacious built-in cupboard and a chest with mirrors. A sofa bed in the living room can be used to accommodate two additional people; the apartment is ideally suited for 2-3 people and can take up to 4 people. There is a large dining table in the kitchen area. Provided are cutlery, toaster, kettle, and all utensils. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, iron and an ironing board. Towels and linen are provided. The apartment has a broadband internet connection plasma TV, DVD player and a CD radio. There is extended selection of programs on the TV, including BBC and several English and German speaking channels. Everything in this apartment is designed to meet your expectations.
